SUMMARY:X-ray Microscopy (XRM) Short Course
DESCRIPTION:This one-day online introductory course will provide a comprehensive foundation in X-ray microscopy\, a non-destructive 3D X-ray imaging technique. This course will include a presentation followed by hands-on experience with data acquisition. Participants will explore core theoretical concepts\, learn how to set up the scans\, and reconstruct images as well as acquire data in both 2D and 3D formats. This course is ideal for new users or those seeking a refresher on the fundamentals of X-ray microscopy. Participants will be emailed the day before with a Zoom link.  \nCourse Details \n\n\nDate: April 10\, 2026\n10:00 am – 12:00 pm: Introductory Presentation\n1:00 pm – 4:00 pm: Hands-on experience with the ZEISS Xradia 510 Versa microscope\n\nCost \n\n$25: NC State University users\n$25: External universities and companies receiving government funding\n$100: Industry users\n\nNote: You must have a valid agreement before you submit this form.
