Smart Material Solutions is giving a FIB pattering seminar on April 29 from 9:00am-10:30am. DualBeam FIB/SEMs like the Quanta 3D FIB/SEM and the Helios 5 Hydra plasma FIB/SEM at NCSU can nanopattern both by removing material with FIB milling processes and growth of material with FIB deposition. In this seminar, Nichole will share her experience FIB patterning features ranging in size from a few hundred nanometers to tens of microns on these systems. The seminar will cover FIB patterning basics, patterning with bitmaps and stream files, and drift control. The session will conclude with a brief demonstration of patterning on the Quanta FIB/SEM.
